My name is Mitzi Jenkins Brickey. I grew up in a small community called Jenkinstown, near Dobson and Elkin N.C. The people there worked hard, eat good and went to church on Sunday. My fondest memories were of the church Dinner on The Grounds. All the women would bring their specialty dishes or make from whatever they had in their cabinets and create a "banquet" like no other. Those desserts were sooo good. And the love that was put into the food made it even better. That's the idea for Main Street Pastry. Stop by and enjoy the simpler, sweeter things in life.
